This liquid is used as an indicator for a color matching water test. OTO is for the measurement of the total Chlorine or Bromine level. The optimum level is 3 to 5 parts per million (ppm). Maintaining hot tub water at the correct Chlorine or Bromine level kills and controls bacteria and makes the hot tub safe to use.
